Here in Zell am See - Kaprun, the first snow falls in early autumn and makes your every wintertime wish come true!
138 kilometers of ski slopes along with 53 lifts - with something here to appeal to everyone. Slopes covered in fresh powder, firn hills with a fantastic bite, daredevil moguls, superbly groomed slopes, fun parks for snowboarders and a freerider heaven (with marked routes). Over 200 km of ski trails also await our cross-country fans at no charge - and some even floodlit until 10 at night.
TIP
Winter sports – whenever and however often you want! Amid the eternal ice of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, you’ll be able to cut your tracks in the snow even in summer. First take a refreshing dip down in the valley, and then happily ski the rest of the day away up here at 3,000m above sea level: in Zell am See - Kaprun, this is just another regular vacation day.
